Newbies Taking Over MUVEs and the Web in General?
Some people do not like the idea of the “cult of the amateur” or the “cult of the newbie”. Even though the Web is all about user-generated content. Not just professional user-generated content: average-user-generated content. I guess the idea of some of the power experienced by experts shifting to the hands of ordinary people is scary to many.
